(POST 30) - Planning - Props
List of props needed in your idea

The photo of the couple on the right is only a rough idea just to show that the character will have a photo of him and his ex girlfriend on paper that will be burnt on camera.
YouTube tutorial links to how you could make these
We don't have any links because all of these props will be already made and we will not be making any
ourselves, all we will do is print off a few photos of the couple to use in the filming.
Images of you purchasing/making these props
We have no pictures due to us having the props already, we didn't need to purchase any props because
the ones we are looking to include are things that most people have like a lighter and the photos we are
using are just photos that have been taken in social events therefore we will just straight print them of
from my phone onto paper.
The props we are looking to include in our music video are very simple but hopefully it will make more
sense once the video is made therefore we are looking to include a lighter and a few photos of the main
actor Aaron and his girlfriend that has left him because it sets out the scene more clearly that she has left
him and he feels lonely and angry. Also we feel that using a lighter creates a different kind of lighting and
looks good on camera therefore gives more variation in lighting.

(POST 29) Planning - Costume and Make-Up
List of the costume and make-up required for your characters
For our music video the costume is going to be very basic therefore the actor that we will be
wearing general clothes for example jeans, jumper and jacket and possibly wear a hat or scarf depending
on the weather on the day to make it realistic to the conditions, we plan on making him wear all black
so the audience can see that the color represents how he feels. No make up will be used in our
music video.
Sketches of how you envisage your characters to look
Images of the costumes and make-up that you are hoping to use and reasons why

For the male actor this is the rough idea we are looking for because in the winter season they
are going to be needing to wear a coat or jacket due to the cold weather. We plan on making the actor
wear all black because it will show that he's lonely and shut away from everyone. The male actor will
will be going for the more casual look because wearing a suit or smart clothing to show loneliness isn't
as realistic as wearing dark clothes, especially a hoodie. Also by wearing dark clothes is can also represent
that the character is more towards his late teens because you don't see many fully grown men wearing all
black clothing therefore by doing this it makes his age a lot more clearer for our target audience.
Images of you practicing and experimenting with make-up/prosphetics etc if appropriate
We have decided not to include any prosthetic because its not suitable to represent someone that has had
their girlfriend leave them causing loneliness therefore we have no images for this as it's inappropriate.

(POST 28) - Casting and Characters
For our music video we only plan on using one actor and that will be Aaron Walker or Harvey Folkard. We think both actors have different strengths that we could use in our music video. The song we want to use is based around one person and his feelings so by using one person and makes the link between being lonely and using one person on the music video.
Character Profile - Male actor
The character we are looking to create in our video is a young male that is suffering through through his girlfriend leaving him therefore it makes him feel lonely because he doesn't know where and why she left so the actor needs to have good ability in making different kinds of facial expression to show loneliness and sadness. The music video will show the characters journey through the suffering that is caused through his girlfriend leaving him. Therefore we think Aaron would be a good fit to do this role because we used him in our preliminary task and thought he done a good job.
The two male actors are shown below Aaron being on the left and Harvey being on the right:
Acting we are using for auditioning - There is plenty of potential scenes we could shoot for auditions. However, I would like to shoot the characters facial expressions and emotions as I feel that will be most important for the success of the video and how we can make the audience emotionally attached to the video. I'm hoping to audition all potential actors and then come to a conclusion of who we want to have in the final music video.

(POST 27) Planning - Setting
What do you understand by the term 'setting'?
The term setting means the place or surrounding areas where an event is taking place. For example, the setting could be a town centre.
What settings do you want to use in your video? Keep in mind that setting can refer to 1) The time of day/season/year/decade/era and of course the actual physical locations. For example, a bedroom or a shopping center are as much a 'setting' as The Middle Ages, or during WW2 or the future.
For our music video we plan on using three major locations which will include Wymondham Abbey, Wymondham Church and Wymondham Train station in order to create variation in heights, camera angles and scenery in the background of the actor. The time of day will vary we will be using night and day so that the audience can see that the pain the character is suffering no matter what time of day. We will be doing it in present day rather than putting it back in the past because we think it is more suited to a young teen in the twenty first century. The year will be two thousand and eighteen because we want to create a modern music video rather than a older based music video.
Why are you wanting to create these settings? How will they create a mise-en-scene? How are they at all relevant to the style of music and lyrics?
We want to create this setting because it fits in with the story line we have planned and it allows us to have a variety of choices of setting therefore it isn't boring to watch. By doing this we are able to include several settings which will hopefully get the audiences attraction more. Having this setting it gives us a lot of space to work with therefore we aren't in a compact area so there will be space for props and gives us more options with how we want certain shots to be arranged. The mise en scene will be created through the setting because we will be using natural lighting. The props we will be using will just be printed photos of the main character with his girlfriend that will be burnt to so the audience can see that she is out of his life now and left his life. The song we have chosen is based on someone leaving someone and wondering where they have gone therefore by having the countryside area with a river, a church and a train station it allows us to create a music video with signs of loneliness due to all the different heights in the countryside. Also some of the actions that will be shown on the music video will be linked to the lyrics, for example the chorus part of running the actor will be running so that it shows we have taken the lyrics into consideration.
Document organisation of your settings, eg-screengrab emails booking locations etc.
With our settings we will not need to book anything therefore we have no emails to show, we are able to use these three locations on a day best fitted to us to film our music video.
Sketches of how you want your locations to look
These sketches are currently a rough idea of what we want to have so by having the countryside and the train track allows us to work with all kinds of angles and heights.

Group Change
We have decided to split the group of being Myself (Jordan Hayward), Jordan Rolf, Jack Kirby and Luke Marchant into two pairs. The pairs are myself and Jordan leaving the other pair as Jack and Luke. As things stand we have done a different practice task and dragon's den planning and pitching but the only thing that has remained a group task(in the four) was the final practice video task because after doing that we wanted to change the groups therefore we went back to change the other tasks that needed to be changed.

(POST 26) - Script/Stage directions/Plot outline
Wymondham Abbey
Aaron - sitting by the river looking down at a photo of him and his ex girlfriend that has left him, after a few shots for variation he drops the photo into the lake.
Some shots of the river and countryside areas to show loneliness
Aaron - walks towards to Wymondham Abbey train station and sits on a bench to show that he doesn't know where to go and feels lost without his girlfriend that has left him.
Wymondham Church
Aaron - sitting at a church looking down to create an effect that he feels like shes completely gone and never coming back. He walks towards a stone wall and sits on the wall and pulls out a photo of him and his girlfriend and burns it with a lighter using a close up shot of the photo on the stone wall.
Aaron - when the song reaches the chorus we will be using the lyrics from the song which they artist naughty boy sings about running so we will have different places and angles showing Aaron running about to show he doesn't know where to look for his girlfriend.
Wymondham Train Station
Aaron - Walks up towards the middle point of the bridge crossing and looks over the train track as a train passes and we will use two shots in one so that he looks over both sides. The ending will finish hear and fade out on him looking over the bridge to leave the audience thinking what happens next and what the character is thinking.
